Become an ATRN Community Partner

The ATRN is looking for community partners to participate in the network. Community partners are individuals in Appalachia who are leaders in their communities. These individuals work to see positive changes in their neighborhood and come from schools, hospitals, churches, social service agencies, etc.

Community partners are:

  • supportive of research in Appalachia
  • open to hearing about research in their area
  • open to participating in research
  • provide ATRN with feedback about doing research in Appalachian communities

Community partners will:

  • be notified about research taking place in their county
  • have their organization listed on the ATRN website
  • have opportunities to participate in research in their area
  • have access to researchers throughout Appalachia
